About Melissa Robertson

Melissa was a recent Rudy Brandsma Award nominee 2019 (ASA) for excellence in songwriting for the title track of her Top 10 Traditional Award-winning album, Little Country Life. She continues to tour the country she loves performing at major festivals such as Tamworth, Macksville Music Muster and Ariah Park Festival in 2020. Melissa will again host The Songwriters' Showcase with Melissa Robertson and Friends for the seventh consecutive year at Tamworth CMF. This year there's an A-list of songwriters and performers. The two shows promise to be a must see-event. Heading the afternoon lineup is 2017 Golden Guitar Finalist Dani Young followed by a number of upcoming artists - Benny Allen, Becci Nethery, Duncan Phillips and Melbourne duo Great Aunt. On the evening show we kick off with New Zealand artist Sue Dyson, Renee Jonas, Brendan Smoother, and the newly-formed Alexis and Susie duo. Past festival favourites on the showcase are Melissa Robertson, Ian Burns, Gayle O'Neil and Peter Armstrong. We hope to see you there at St Stephens Presbyterian Church Hall from 2pm-5pm and 6pm- 9.30pm on Monday, January 20 January.
