About Keith JamiesonQueensland singer-songwriter Keith Jamieson has been writing and performing mostly Australian bush ballads for over 40 years. He has several albums to his credit, and has also released a DVD. Keith has had songs recorded by several other artists including Slim Dusty, Jeff Brown, Charley Boyter, Reg Poole and Amos Morris. Keith has been nominated twice in the final five of the prestigious CMAA Golden Guitar Awards and was lucky enough to win in the Bush Ballad section in 2014 with a song he wrote for Jeff Brown, I Love Australia. He has been in the winning circle at most of the major country music awards in Australia, including the Tamworth Songwriters' Association Salute Awards, TIARAs, Australian Bush Ballad Awards, Tasmania and NZ Songwriting Awards, ACRA Awards and the QLD Rock of Recognition. Keith was inducted into the Hands of Fame in Tamworth in 2005. Keith has toured Australia four times and has been touring full-time since 2005. He performs at halls, pubs, clubs and festivals all over Australia with his partner Alisha Smith and daughter Caitlyn. He hopes to continue writing and recording bush ballads and performing country material for many years to come.
