"The Tamworth Country Music Festival is officially declared open."

Bicentennial Park is where the Festival is officially declared open by Tamworth Regional Council’s Mayor with the raising of the official Festival Flag. The entrants for The Queen of Country Music will be in attendance along with Tamworth’s Pipe Band.

A concert offering a taste of the festival will showcase up and coming new artists, bush poets and line dancers, whetting appetites for the entertainment to follow over the next ten days.

The entrance to Bicentennial Park is in Kable Avenue, bring your fold up chair or picnic rug and see the Festival begin in style. A great place to meet your Festival friends from all over Australia.
