The Country Music Hands Of Fame Cornerstone was established in 1977 as a tribute to people who had made a name for themselves in Australian Country Music - there are now nearly 250 hands cast in concrete. Hand imprinting takes place Saturday 23th January at 9.00am in the Hands of Fame Park at the corner of Kable Avenue and Brisbane Street, Tamworth. Inductees are determined by the Australian Country Music Foundation (ACMF) on behalf of Tamworth City Council. Nominations for inductees were invited from the membership of the ACMF and the CMAA (Country Music Association of Australia). A FREE FESTIVAL EVENT 9.00am Saturday 23rd January Hands of Fame Park at the corner of Kable Avenue and Brisbane Street.
